About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Technician to lead and execute technical
installations and maintenance projects, including access control systems, CCTV, boom
gates, LPR (License Plate Recognition), garage motors, gate motors, electric fencing, and
networking. As a project leader, the Senior Technician will oversee on-site teams, ensure
high-quality delivery, and maintain client satisfaction through professional service and

Key Responsibilities

• Lead installation, configuration, and maintenance of:
  • o Access control systems
  • o CCTV systems
  • o Boom gates and LPR systems
  • o Garage and gate motors
  • o Electric fencing
  • o Networking solutions
• Act as project leader on assigned jobs, coordinating resources and managing junior technicians.
• Conduct fault finding, troubleshooting, and repairs to ensure optimal system functionality.
• Oversee quality assurance to ensure installations meet company standards and client requirements.
• Liaise with clients to provide technical updates, training, and support where required.
• Prepare project reports and maintain accurate records of installations and maintenance.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company procedures on all worksites.
• Manage timelines and budgets for assigned projects.

Requirements

• Matric (Grade 12) essential.
• Proven experience as a Technician, with at least 3–5 years in access control, CCTV, and related security system installations.
• Strong technical knowledge across access control, surveillance, automation, and networking.
• Demonstrated leadership ability to manage projects and guide junior staff.
• Proficiency in using relevant tools, equipment, and diagnostic systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to client sites.
